Who are we?
Canine Mind and Body Balance is a canine therapy centre based in Rossendale, Lancashire and is the new home of Best Behaviour Animal Therapy.
The centre is owned and managed by Julie Moss who is also the founder of Best Behaviour Animal Therapy and is a qualified canine behaviourist, veterinary physiotherapist and TTouch practitioner.
The aim of the centre is to provide a central place which offers and integrates a variety of canine complementary and alternative therapies tailored to suit the needs of your dog. Every dog is treated as an individual with therapies recommended according to their specific requirements. There is no ‘one size fits all’ mentality as all therapists will take time to thoroughly assess your dog and get to know them as an individual being.
Who are the therapists?
Complementary and alternative (CAM) therapies can be both appealing and confusing when trying to decide how best to help your dog. At Canine Mind and Body we offer only services by fully qualified therapists who all have the united view that the dog always comes first and at all times is treated with respect. You can feel safe in the knowledge that anyone who treats your dog at the centre will only do so if your dog is happy to be treated by them.
Why choose complementary and alternative therapies?
There is also a strong emphasis on education here at the centre and many of the therapists will be giving talks to introduce themselves and what they do. We aim to take the mystery out of CAM therapies and help people to understand how they work and how they can benefit our dogs.
